An Intro to VoIP

Communication is a vital part of business and a means to socialize with both clients and affiliates. Traditional methods of communication were based on phones that are operated through a landline, traditional wireless phones functioned through unreliable networks from and internet communication is transmitted through an IP (internet protocol) server. There are also limitations to how these services can be render; for example, to use video conference on a desktop computer one must consult a specialist to setup the system and pay separate particular expenses. Another example of how these services can be a irritation are wireless phones which ask for individual additional costs and expenses for internet access on top of their ludicrous monthly service rates. For a company to have access to these services, they must consult multiple companies, paying multiple monthly bills, and also hiring specialists in each of those departments for maintenance and support. However through a new innovative technology called VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) simplifies the complex and confusing business communication procedure. VoIP is a "means to an end", a new level of communication to traditional communication, synchronizing and uniting all these services into unified collaboration software. Through this new innovative technology, businesses are able to utilize all their services all at once either through their VoIP wireless or through their computer IP.

Within the business infrastructure, businesses employ such services as IM (instant messaging), voice communication, videoconferencing, email, voicemail, and faxes. Implementing VoIP into their existing system is simple without replacing preexisting phone lines or desktop computers. In essence, VoIP is more exclusively a comprehensive software application instead of hardware. VoIP is a prominent project management tool that enables enterprises to be efficient in coordinating with their clients' needs and at the same moment saves on efficient non time-consuming software that can be access anytime on the road.

In plain English, it is communication software that enables businesses to interconnect through a computer IP server or a proxy computer address. There are variations in usage of this innovative software. Primarily it can be access either directly through your existing landline phone or through a computer and vice versa. When an individual speaks into the microphone of the landline phone or over the Internet, an artificial computerized voice will repeat verbatim what is uttered. With growing business needs and goals, VoIP has been augmenting and consistent in meeting these needs and goals. Services that were ground based nationally expanded globally. Essentially, VoIP has revolutionized how to communicate internationally. VoIP enables any business individual complete access of secure collaboration from any location worldwide. An efficient communication tool is basis to prominent team collaboration and project collaboration.

VoIP is an innovation to the business industry as the business infrastructure is ever-changing. Business needed a new means of communication that is reliable, efficient, and well as cost-effective. VoIP technology enables businesses to propel into a new age of fluent communications, thus initiating a sturdier relationship. With the introduction of VoIP that confines all these communication services into a single tool, the question that will arise; will VoIP knock off traditional communication resources off the market?

Over the past year web services have mainstream and grown exponentially in order to complement augmenting business demands. This creates a gap for IT professionals who cannot deal immediately with complexities that arise which necessitate parallel resources in an accelerated manner. Matter of fact is IT professionals do not have the resources or the time to address all errors. Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) architecture is the missing link that fills in the gap. SOA is an automated comprehensive web-based application that integrates all preexisting business-centric materials and information into a set of standardized and ubiquitous interfaces that facilities software reuses.

In essence, SOA leverages business governance replacing all lingering business services with more flexible architecture with improvements of functionality and business agility growing consistently the ever-changing business environment.
